One of the features that came with OS 4.5+ was the ability to have multiple calendars. BES users are used to only having the one BES calendar. Now there is one for each BIS email address along with another one for Facebook if you have it installed. The issue is, sometimes a meeting request will be sent to a BIS account instead of the BES account and then they don’t sync. continue

Real-Time Top 40 is powered by Twitter. Twitter users post the song and artist they are listening to and it updates the chart immediately. continue

Apple issued the iPhone 3.1 software update yesterday. Since then, many users have reported that the update has caused handsets to freeze, get stuck in a restore “loop” and wiped of all content.

In one incident a person reports that a phone went from 100 percent to 55 percent charge in the space of six hours, despite being completely inactive and even having Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disabled.

Overview

To take a screenshot of the active display on a BlackBerry smartphone, perform the following steps:

  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
  2. Go to Start> Programs> Accessories> Command Prompt.
  3. Type cd C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader
  4. Type loader.exe /screenshot active yourpicturename.bmp

Note: The image will be saved in the “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader” directory.
