If you have just purchased your new client access license (CAL) and don’t know where to add it in the BlackBerry Manager or BlackBerry Administration Service, here’s how:

To add a new CAL authentication key, complete one of the following sets of steps, depending on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server version:

For BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.1:

  1. Open BlackBerry Manager.
  2. Click BlackBerry Domain.
  3. On the Global tab, expand the Account section and then click License Management.
  4. Specify the new CAL authentication key and then click Add License. continue

All language packs for BlackBerry are provided by the wireless service provider. The language packs are contained within the BlackBerry Device Software for the specific BlackBerry smartphone model.

To identify which version of BlackBerry Messenger is currently installed on the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps based on your BlackBerry Device Software version.

If you are using BlackBerry Device Software version 4.7.1 and lower

1. On the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options
2. Select Advanced Options
3. Select Applications
4. BlackBerry Messenger will be displayed in the listing accompanied by the application version.

Vodafone are set to offer a subsidised version of the Nexus One after winning the right to become the first operator to sell the new handset in Europe.
