A recent report released by O2 UK shows how mobile phones have now become so much more than just a device to call people. The report, called All About You asked users how much time people spend doing various tasks via their smartphones.

The report also asked respondents what they used their smartphones for. The results reveal how ubiquitous these devices are becoming in everyday life, in places replacing other devices, such as alarm clocks and watches, prompting David Johnson, the General Manager Devices for O2 UK, to say: “Smartphones are now being used like a digital ‘Swiss Army Knife”.
