At the WWDC (Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference) on Monday, Tim Cook announced the new mobile operation system, iOS 6 for Apple’s mobile devices. This update will be offered in Autumn (alongside the launch of the new iPhone) to iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S along with iPad 2, the new iPad and the iPod touch 4th generation. Continue reading
In San Fransicso yesterday, Apple gave a presentation of its latest products. Amongst the announcements, the one product that people were waiting for was the follow up to the iPad 2.
Amongst the speculation preceeding the event, the name was one of the things discussed about, many people favouring either the iPad 3 or the iPad HD. What people hadn’t counted on was Apple’s announcement that it will simply be called the New iPad. This was the first surprise of the day.
