Apple has just released a new update for iOS8. The update includes improved performance, bug fixes and a new, redesigned Emoji keyboard. Please see below for a more detailed breakdown of features and fixes in this iOS update.

BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 update is expected to be released on February 19 for all of the company’s current smartphone line-up. Currently, the BlackBerry Classic is the only one to run BlackBerry OS 10.3.1.
The latest BlackBerry OS version is expected to include an updated virtual assistant that will bring BlackBerry closer to the likes of Siri, Google Now and Microsoft Cortana. The new OS is also expected to include notification profiles, enhanced calendar reminder dialogs, task recurrence and the ability to hide pictures and videos. Additional features are expected to include a battery saving mode and the option to restrict apps to run while minimised.
There are a number of new features and hidden functions in iOS 8, and here are a few of them:
Find my iPhone
This new feature allows your iOS 8 device/s to send a last known location to Apple when the battery reaches a critical level. The last location will be kept in your iCloud for 24 hrs. This will assist you in locating your iPhone/iPad even if the battery has died.

Siri with music in mind
Shazam is now integrated into iOS 8 via Siri. Say “What song is playing Siri” and Siri will use Shazam to help you identify the music.
At the WWDC (Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference) on Monday, Tim Cook announced the new mobile operation system, iOS 6 for Apple’s mobile devices. In San Fransicso yesterday, Apple gave a presentation of its latest products. Amongst the announcements, the one product that people were waiting for was the follow up to the iPad 2.
Amongst the speculation preceeding the event, the name was one of the things discussed about, many people favouring either the iPad 3 or the iPad HD. What people hadn’t counted on was Apple’s announcement that it will simply be called the New iPad. This was the first surprise of the day.
