O2 have released a video showing how Near Field Communication (NFC) on mobile phones can be used for a variety of everyday activities, such as your London Underground ticket or to pay for a cup of coffee.
NFC, sometimes know by Tap and Pay or Contactless Payment, is a feature that is being supplied on more and more smartphones, such as the BlackBerry 9900 and the Samsung Galaxy S III. Also the Olympics in London is being used as a test bed for NFC payments via VISA Paywave. Continue reading
