The Tokyo leg of the touring RESFEST festival is held at Laforet Museum. Featuring a huge range of digital shorts and documentaries, music films and videos, projected Flash animations and more, the event brings the best of digital cinema to major cities on three continents.

The festival's main programme covers digital shorts (one-12 minutes), "Longform" (digital films and videos from 12-30 minutes) and feature-length works; all of these take in work in all genres. There are also showcases for interactive media, for music videos and for film title sequences.
